The Little Princess
Today, in our house, that's Eamon. With the yucky weather outside, the kids have been growing restless, so we decided to build them a dormik in the living room using our old paint sheet, some strageically placed chairs, and a few encyclopedias. After about an hour or so in the fort, we decided the take it a step further and have the kids dress up. Inspired by the movie, "The Little Princess," which we watched last night, Vika dressed Eamon as her own "malinky princess." Unfortunately, I think she was inspired more by the part of the story where Sarah is forced to be a serving girl, because she is making Eamon march around the house in front of
her, holding up a butterfly wand, thus heralding the arrival of the TRUE princess, Snow Vika. Eamon will probably hate me for posting these pictures, which will no doubt require him to have hours of therapy when he is older, but I couldn't resist. I especially love the combination of Vika's beaded slippers with his striped sport socks.
