Happy Mother’s Day!

For many years, I did not appreciate my mom as much as I should have. Sure, I loved her and knew she would be there for me if ever I should need her, but I didn’t truly recognize her significance in my life until I became a mother myself. Now, as I raise a quirky son and a precocious daughter, I fully understand everything my mom dealt with when raising my brother and me. I am deeply thankful for the way she has embraced my two children, even though they were born to another woman a world away, and the obvious pride she takes in them fills my heart. So, here’s to you mom! Thanks for being the wonderful mother and Babushka that you are!

I just read this post! Thank you so much. Of course, I cried! Raising you and Joe was the single most wonderful event of my life. And I can't begin to tell you how proud I am of you and how you're raising your children. Thank you for being an awesome daughter, and thank you for my incredible grandchildren.
I love you - Mom
