Happy Birthday Mom (Babushka)!
Today marks the beginning of my mom's 7th decade - she is officially 60 years old! *gasp* On Saturday we threw a surprise party for her, with many of her friends and family in attendance. We were even able to get her good friend Babette, whom she's known since college, to come out for the party. They had a great time chatting together and catching up long after the party ended. Just for fun, I thought I'd post pictures of Mom and Babette then (sometime in the 60's - gotta love those hair ribbons!), and now (at the party).
