SPF - For Jenelle!
The theme was suggested by Missing JT Snow, who describes epilepsy as "that crappy monster that has a hold of my little girl!" As you can see from her assignment below, she has a sense of humor about the disease from which her daughter suffers. However, it is also important for people to be educated to help remove the stigma around epilepsy. For more information, please click here.
1. Something you seize (as in seizure, get it?)
2. Something that shakes (because you shake when you have seizures)
3. And something purple (because purple is the color for National Epilepsy Awareness Month!)
I seize my son's hand. Constantly. He's always running this way and that, and sometimes it's all I can do to keep him by my side. Carpe manus (Seize the hand)!
This is our washing machine. It shakes. A lot. When it's on spin cycle, it even makes the house move. Sometimes I think we are having an earthquake. Then I realize that it's just the laundry.
This purple daisy (or maybe it's a mum) grew in our backyard. It was just kind of all by itself out there, so I took a picture and decided to play around with colorspotting on MyTheme.

Great pix! You and I thought alike re the shake pic. Ha!
Mine's up :)
I love the pic of the purple daisy :)

Oh yeah. When I do linens, my machine goes NUTS.
that flower is gorgeous jenni! I totally hear you on the washer thing... ours is so obnoxious we have to close the laundry room door when the tv's on so we can hear!
I played!
I almost took a photo of my washing machine too! Great pictures! I played!
Your "seize" pic is great! I used to be able to say that about my son, but now that he is 12, he thinks that his dad can't hold his hand to cross streets anymore! That's OK, but I told him to not expect that the hugs will stop anytime soon!
Great job! I played as well, so come on by! Have a great weekend!
So many people are so unaware of Epilepsy. Great that you posted about it.
