Happy Blogiversary!

It has been a year since we started our family blog. A year of working my way through blogger glitches, posting pictures and telling stories. I started this blog as a way to keep friends and family informed of the goings-on in our household. I never anticipated that I would meet so many blogger friends from all over the world as a result! I have learned so much from all of you, and look forward to another year in bloggerland.

I loved all your comments to yesterday's post. Well, all except my mom's comment. She actually gave me the copy of my infamous "bring dinner to my room" note in a book full of my "early writings." It has reaffirmed my belief in karma - every drama queen moment I ever gave to my mom as a child, I am now getting back (times 2)! We now have a saying in our house when things get a little too theatrical: "Drama down!" (accompanied by "jazz hands" - a la Jack from Will and Grace - moving downwards).

Perhaps I'll post a scan of a few of my childhood works for your future amusement.

In the meantime, for those of you looking for something silly to while away a few minutes, check out Hairball Bowling. It's just a little something the cat hacked up (thanks Andy!).

Drama down sounds like a command every parent should have.

    Happy one year!

And my mom is convinced that because S is such a dream baby, that when we get a girl she will be demon spawn...at least she's hoping...she is dying for me to be paid back for all the years I tortured her.
