Thanks!

Did you know that January is National Thank You Month? No? Well, neither did I. It is amazing the things you can learn on About.com. I found a yearly calendar with all kinds of random reasons to celebrate, so naturally, I printed it out. However, I think I'll skip "Work Harder Day," which occurs on January 12th. A holiday that encourages you to increase your work load seems to be a bit of an oxymoron.

Anyway, in honor of this month's theme, I would like to thank you.

Yes, YOU.

Thanks for stopping by and reading the blog.

Thanks for your kind comments and input throughout the year.

And thanks to many of you for posting your experiences on your own blogs. Your stories have been touching, funny, educational and inspiring. I've enjoyed reading them all.

If you get a chance, spread the grattitude! Thank someone who has touched your life and make their day!

perhaps they chose January because that is when people should be sending thank you cards for christmas presents. I think thank you is such a powerful word and always makes people's day. I am working hard to write more thank you notes, not just for things, but for time, kindness etc. I was really shocked here that people still write thank you notes. Parents recognize how important it is that children learn to thank people, that they don't think everything comes too easy etc. I really like that (one good thing about being here other than health care and FMLA! lol). I am really going to work hard to instil that in my kids, they can draw a picture as a thank you or write a poem, or a letter etc. There is nothing worse than sending gifts and hearing nothing back!

And Jenni, THANK YOU for blogging. I so love your blog, love seeing and hearing Vika and Eamon updates and am so so glad that our paths crossed. You are a great blogger friend. THANK YOU for making my heart a little happier!
