My Week - The Cliff's Notes Version
I'm still in a Dayquil-induced haze, but thought I would post a quick summary of all that has occurred during my blogging-hiatus (you can click on any picture to see it bigger).

- My new nephew (SIL Angie's son), Spencer, was in a school production of "Charlotte's Web," in which he played the coveted role of Wilbur. He did an amazing job and completely stole the show! That kid really knows how to ham it up! (no pun intended)
Vika had her "Kindergarten Entertains" show last week, in which the kids serenaded us with the songs they have learned throughout the year. It was a great performance, but the song, "Four Hugs a Day" was stuck in my head for days afterwards! (maybe, if I feel motivated enough, I may post a short video later).
Jeff, Eamon and I accompanied Vika's kindergarten class on a trip to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was a fun day for the kids, but exhausting for the adults! The sun fish were still the coolest thing ever, as was the school of sardines darting this way and that through the kelp forest.
Jeff's daughter (my step-daughter), Ali, graduated from high school! We attended her graduation ceremony and grad party this weekend, and the kids were very excited to see her and play with her little sister J (who is the same age as Vika).

- This weekend we also celebrated my step-father, Ed's 60th birthday! The family got together for a BBQ, and had a great time mocking Ed for being "over the hill."

one word...
VID - E - O!
VID - E - O!
VID- E - O!
(i think it's more effective if you chant what you want) : )
take a breather. you deserve it.
Wow. Ali is a high school graduate! CRAZY!
It sounds like you have had quite a busy few days! Now get some rest, so you'll be ready for Sting and the boys. (Matte and I are planning on going tomorrow too...but I am now home with the flu!)
Oh I hope you feel better before the Police concert!
Great pics!
Jeff's daughter is so pretty, and big congrats to her :-)
Over the hill....love it!
Feel better hun and have fun at the concert!
That's a pretty full week! Congratulations to Ali. My niece is graduating this year, too. Hope you're feeling better soon.
what a great week, that song sounds pretty special!
Have fun at the Police.
Congrats to the grads!
I hope you're feeling better. And, 'fess up--the pun WAS intended. ;>
Am taking Kathy's advice and am going to chant.
