I Be Smart and Stuff

I'm currently taking a break from painting our kitchen wall the good old fashioned way - with a paintbrush. Why not use a roller, you ask? Well, because we threw our old rollers away, and I didn't want to take the extra time to drive to the big, stinky, overwhelming, orange-accented hardware store to get one.

It's not lost upon me that if I had just gone to the big, stinky, overwhelming, orange-accented hardware and bought the dang roller, I'd be done painting by now.

*sigh*

I think the paint fumes are going to my head...

Yeah, but if you use a roller all the paint runs down your arm and on your shirt. Or, better yet, it does this little splash thing and you wind up with paint spots on your face. Trust me - been there. Stick to the brush.

Plus, this way, you get to make the joy last oh, so much longer. I mean, who doesn't love painting?

That sounds like something I would do. Completely! Happy painting.
