What the heck am I supposed to do with a newborn for 4 hours?
I agreed to watch my nephew, Ty, this Sunday, and I'm not sure what to do other than feed him and change his diaper as needed. Never having had an infant myself, I'm feeling a bit inadequate.
Any tips for keeping a newborn entertained?

The magic of a newborn is that they don't really need to be "entertained" terribly much. It often happens that they entertain you more than anything! But some rattles or things hanging above them don't hurt! Have fun!!!
Based on experience with my niece and neph, I'd agree with Saj...and add maybe hold and rock him and talk or sing. Funny how many of us moms have no clue about babies!

Having watched my 8 month old nephew for a while it involved a lot of watching the Disney channel and not sitting down. I believe there was spit up involved too. It made me remember why I liked having a 2 year old.
It's been a while since I've been around an infant. All I remember is diaper changes sometimes, burping them and loving on those chubby cheeks.

Feed, hold, change diaper. Newborns are a piece of cake compared to the infinitely more complicated toddler! I'm sure you did great.
