And now she's knitting....

Yes, Vika can knit. She saw me working on the scarf I started for myself while in Russia, and decided that she wanted to learn how to do it herself. So, I sat this 4 year old child down with some pink yarn and a pair of circular needles, assuming that she'd quickly grow frustrated and join Eamon on the floor playing legos. You would think by now I would have learned not to underestimate the power of Vika's brain. Within 5 minutes, she was working on knitting a scarf for "kookla" ("doll" in Russian). She picked up the basics of knitting faster than I did! Dang kid.... Vika is incredibly smart. Scary smart, at times. I may have to revisit our discussion about her using her brain for good and not evil...
