Rainy Day Post

On this cold and dreary day there wasn't much to do with the kids outside, and frankly, we were all going a little crazy. After Eamon colored (and then cleaned) the wall, I decided that an art project was in order.
If any of you out there have kids, you may be familiar with the story Elmer, about a patchwork-colored elephant who feels conspicuous among his gray friends. The kids dig elephants, so we decided to make our own versions of Elmer to hang in their room.

To my surprise, they actually came out pretty good! I'll have to remember this one during rainy days with my students.
