Elton Eamon and a Bag of Rocks
This weekend was quite eventful for our family. On Saturday, we went to Rachel's 2nd birthday party where the kids had free reign of the house, including all of Rachel's toys. Wouldn't you know that Eamon picked out this little ensemble, which he wore for the entire party. You can't really see it, but there are wings on the back of his costume. My little pink fairy boy... To top off his look, he added a pink straw hat and some fabulous rose-colored glasses, making him resemble Elton John during his 70's glam phase. All the kids at the party had a great time, and the adults enjoyed watching my son parade around in his tutu. 
On Sunday, Joe, Angie, and the boys came by for dinner. Vika was especially excited to see "Joe Monkey" (what they call my b rother), and put together a special surprise for him. A lovely bag of rocks soaking in muddy water! She even tied a green ribbon around the top to make the present more festive! Needless to say, Joe was thrilled with the gift, which was safely stored in our garbage can after Vix went to sleep. :)

I can't believe he threw away Vika's gift!!! I'll have to have a talk with that boy.....
