Snap Crackle Pop!
I love finding new ways to "torture" my kids. God knows, they are constantly coming up with new ways to torture me! So, when we were at Michael's, and I found a bag of Pop Rocks, I thought, "Perfect!" With much glee, I bought the package, anticipating the horrified looks on their faces when they tried the candy for the first time and it began to explode in their mouths. We waited until after dinner, and then instructed the kids to tilt their heads back and open their mouths wide. I poured the rocks in, and as the candy began to pop and crackle in thier mouths, all Vika and Eamon did was nod enthusiastically and say "Koosna!" (Tasty!). The startled looks I expected to see on their faces never came. Feeling a bit deflated, I gave them the rest of the Pop Rocks, and then tried to put two preschoolers amped on sugar to bed. It would apprear that I only succeeded in torturing myself...
