Fun and Games

How do we get around the cabin fever which has struck everyone in our household? By playing crazy indoor games, of course! After many shouts of "Papa, eegrats!" (Papa, play!) from the kids, Jeff decided to get them good and riled up.
The first event of the evening: Stair Sliding. This is where the kids slide down the stairs head first after a brief "tussle" with Jeff. And yes, I cringe every time.

After Eamon flipped head over heels down the stairs (which he and Vika thought was just the funniest thing ever), we decided to move onto the second (and safer) event of the evening: Sandwich!
Now, frankly, I don't see the appeal of this game, but the kids love it. Basically, Vix and Eames are "sandwiched" between two pillows, sometimes with Jeff squishing them from the top. While the "fun" in such an activity eludes me, the kids can be entertained with this for hours.

Now, after much rough-housing, it is time for a bath and dinner. Hopefully the warm water will help Vika and Eamon to wind down.... If not, then I fear I may have a long night of being tackled by little bodies ahead of me....

Too bad my uncle doesn't have stairs at his house. My sister and I could have played on them when our baseball game was rained out!
Ah, the days of simple entertainment. Where did they go?
