Ariba!
The kids and I went to Chevy's on Friday to meet Cath and Steph for lunch. Stephanie's in town for only a brief time before heading back to LA, so it was great to be able hang out a bit and introduce the kids to her. Chevy's was an appropriate setting as well since Vika and Eamon had just finished watching a "Dora the Explorer" episode that taught them the word "Ariba!," and had been walking around the house exclaiming "Say ariba! Say ariba!" all morning.
After their meal, the kids were served ice cream cones for the first time. Eamon made a bit of a mess and didn't quite know how to eat the dripping dessert. Vika, however, soon figured out that she could suck the leaking ice cream from the hole at the bottom, and set about finishing her cone. That's my girl!
