Four Feet More

Vika had her first day of Kindergarten today... again.... Fortunately, she was overloaded to the school where I often substitute teach, and I know her kindergarten teacher quite well. My master teacher from my student teaching days also works in her class, so Vika is definitely in good hands! Sadly, her "boyfriend" is not in her class - an unfortunate end to a blossoming romance. However, she has already made a new friend (who is named either Ellie or Allah - in our area, it could be either, really), and she loves being in a real classroom. She should stay put in this class for the rest of the year. Next fall she may go back to her old school or stay on at the new one, depending on enrollment. But, that's a long way off, and for now she is in a stable situation.
