Under the Sea

This weekend, Jeff, the kids and I took a drive out to Monterey Bay to visit the Aquarium and play a little on the beach. Vika and Eamon loved seeing all the fish and animals that live under the sea. Their favorites were the frolicking otters, and we were all quite impressed by the sunfish (they had two of them in the tuna tank, and one was bigger than our car!).

It was a beautiful day to play on the beach and walk around the town of Monterey. Here are a few pictures from our day.

Why is Eamon trying tp push Vika out into the water?!?! Great pictures - did they try to find Nemo?

Ok, so I confess. Eamon was totally trying to push Vika into the water! But, doesn't it almost look like a tender moment between a brother and a sister? Maybe some of my readers will be fooled. :)

Alright, maybe I'm retarded, and maybe I've asked this already, but you must live close to me because we go to Monterey quite often...
The pictures are so cute! I feel a drive coming on ;-)

Oh, I love that picture with Eamon's hand on Vika's back! You need to enlarge and frame that one!!

Wow! Amazing pics. The picture of the 2 of them is adorable even if he was pushing her.

    Glad you had fun

Arlene - yes, we do live in the same area (kind of - the Bay Area is so big)! If you want to go to Monterey, you may want to schedule your visit in a couple of months. The Aquarium is opening up a new Otter exhibit that is supposed to be really great. We may have to go down again too.
