Shapka!
This weekend Jeff went through some of his parents' stuff and brought home many sentimental treasures. One was this hat made by his father Bob sometime in the 1970's. As you may know, Eamon has a thing for shapkas ("hats" in Russian), and he has taken a real shine to this one. True, he looks like something out of "Newsies!", but since he's 3, we think he can pull it off.
Vika's main joy in life is doing anything that grown-ups do. She's become a real champ at opening all my car doors when we are getting ready to go somewhere. Yes, she has figured out the complicated Honda lock system - a system which many adults I know (I won't mention any names) still have trouble with. We'll have to keep a close eye on her, or she may soon figure out how to actually drive the car.
