Oh, the Places You'll Go!
We took Vika and Eamon to the Children's Discovery Museum today, and they had an amazing time! The main exhibit at the museum is, "Oh, Seuss! Off to Great Places," and the kids had fun crawling through Seussian trains, cars and trucks. They also liked the "let's pretend" area and enjoyed dressing up as animals and having a tea party. Eamon mixed the two and attended the tea party as a squirrel, while his sister served plastic food to their new friends.
The big hit of the day, however, was the Water Ways exhibit, where kids used colorful plastic balls to explore the way water flows, gushes, and spins. Eamon was a bit scared at first, but soon got into the spirit of things and was shooting balls through water tubes like his sister. By the end of the day, the kids were beat! They had so much fun though, and learned quite a bit, making the Children's Discovery Museum a place we'll go to again and again.
