Ya Hachoo Cathy!
It's raining today, so I took the kids to build-a-bear to spend that gift certificate that has been burning a hole in my pocket. Naturally, Vika got the purple glitter pony (complete with Princess outfit and wings), and Eamon got a Boxer dog.
Build-a-bear was a hit, but even more of a hit was my friend, Cathy. Cathy works at Panasonic, which is near build-a-bear, so we stopped in for a visit. On the way to her office, the kids kept saying, "Ya hachoo Cathy!" which means, "I want Cathy!" Keep in mind, they had never met her before - they just knew that she was good, and they wanted her. We had lunch in her break room, the kids played a little pool, and then ran around terrorizing her co-workers. A good time was had by all. Here the kids are on the "fancy" Panasonic couch after playing a rough game of pool:
Some other pictures, as well as Cathy's take on the day can be found on her blog: http://www.catheroo.com. By the way, her blog, Catheroominations, is highly entertaining, and I recommend it to anyone who wants a bit of a laugh.

It is nice to know that kiddies are adapting well. From ice cream to nasty vaccine shots, they are doing really well. Tres cool!
