Hello world! How 'ya doing?

Ever since I found StatCounter last month, I've become a bit obsessed with looking at who reads our blog. Don't worry, it doesn't give names or addresses, but it does show the country where readers live, and also shows the pages from which people access the blog. It was this little feature that enabled me to learn that Four Feet More is listed as a friend of 2peas1pod. They did a wonderful job on our adoption announcements, and I happily recommend them to all of you who will soon have your children home and will want to let the world know.

It's fun to see who's reading your blog, and also interesting to see who isn't - Discovery Bay, California, you know who you are (although, I guess I should give you a pass since you are currently 7 months pregnant and mom to a 1.5 year old)!

But some of the people who read our blog completely astound me. For example, on Friday someone from Qatar checked out the site. QATAR! And there is a reader from South Africa who has visited a few times as well. I had no idea the blog would become so "global." So, lurkers out there, drop me a comment and say "Hi." I'd love to know about why you read the blog. I have a feeling that most of you are adoptive families, but maybe I'm wrong. And other bloggers, where is the most random and/or surprising place you've ever had someone visit your blog from?

Hello Kate! It is easy to install the program. I have the free version that logs the last 100 page loads. but, you can also pay a monthly fee to have it log more.

I hope all is well in England. I spent a summer going to the Slade School of Fine Arts in London and loved it!

I have the stat counter too. It is funny because when I had my old blog- Adopting From Russia I got people from all over the world. With this new blog I mainly get just USA people, but more of them. I don't know why. That stat counter thing is addicting isn't it?

I am still stuck with "our" friend from Discovery Bay being pregnant and not knowing it! Where have I been?

I need to get one of these too! Who knows who reads mine. Who wants to read it if all I do is talk about U2. he he! Or talk about my students. Who wants to know about that?

    Oh Irma, you'd be surprised....
