National Adoption Awareness Month
Today is the first day of National Adoption Awareness Month. Elle has decreed that purple shall be the color for adoption awareness, simply because she loves purple.
In honor of all the families who have adopted, all those who may adopt in the future, and all the children in the world waiting for families of their own, I will be "going purple" for the month of November.
