Kids say it best
Margaret posted this on Facebook, and I decided to steal it from her.
All About Mama
By Vika (age 7) and Eamon (age 6)
1. What is something mama always says to you?
Vika: Do your evening chores.
Eamon: Get up.
2. What makes mama happy?
V: When we can spend time together.
E: When I smile.
3. What makes mama sad?
V: When me and Eamon tell on each other and when we can’t do movie night.
E: When I hit.
4. How does your mama make you laugh?
V: She tickles me.
E: By tickling me.
5. What was your mama like as a child?
V: She was nice to her brother and helpful, I think. (I believe Vika is probably wrong on both counts - Mom? Any input?)
E: She liked to play soccer on the boy’s team. (I think I've only mentioned this to Eamon once - it must have made an impression)
6. How old is your mama?
V: 35 (correct)
E: 28 (bless him).
7. How tall is your mama?
V: 9 feet tall.
E: Like 10 feet tall!
(In truth, I'm only 5'7")
8. What is her favorite thing to do?
V: Play with me and Eamon.
E: Work on the computer.
(Actually, my favorite this to do is read. But since I normally do this after the kids are in bed, they wouldn't know)
9. What does your mama do when you're not around?
V: Teach.
E: Watch T.V.
(both answers are correct)
10. If your mama becomes famous, what will it be for?
V: Playing soccer. (Not since my knee injury in college!)
E: Dancing. (Not a chance - I'm a fair dancer at best)
11. What is your mama really good at?
V: Soccer.
E: Making me laugh.
12. What is your mama not very good at?
V: Singing.
E: Not good at breaking rocks with her hands. (I've never actually tried to break a rock with my hands, but I suspect Eamon is probably right)
13. What does your mama do for her job?
V: Teach.
E: Teach.
14. What is your mama's favorite food?
V: Eggs Benedict.
E: Toast
15. What makes you proud of your mama?
V: When she takes the art classes I teach.
E: When I can’t watch something, but then she lets me anyway without T.V. points. (I usually only do this on family movie night, but I guess he hasn't made that connection)
16. If your mama were a cartoon character, who would she be?
V: Yoda (from the Clone Wars)
E: Yoda, but the mama Yoda
(Perhaps they think I'm very wise? Or maybe just old?)
17. What do you and your mama do together?
V: Snuggle, play, and watch T.V.
E: Play
18. How are you and your mama the same?
V: We both have butts on our faces (She has a butt-chin and I have a butt-nose.)
E: We have the same skin and the same hair
19. How are you and your mama different?
V: Her eyes are green-blue and my eyes are brown.
E: Her eyes are green and my eyes are brown
20. How do you know your mama loves you?
V: Because she always says it!
E: Because she always hugs and kisses me.
21. Where is your mama's favorite place to go?
V: Arizona.
E: Arizona.
(While I am quite fond of my home state, I would have answered Disneyland or New York City for this one.)
This was a fun way to pass the time. I made it like an official interview, complete with fake microphone, and the kids thought it was a great game.

Too cute! I'll have to try this too.
How interesting about you and Vika with the butts on your faces. lol.
Very cute. I should try that with my kids! As for you when you were little, you were nice to your brother most of the time. Helpful, not so much. Although I do have that one photo of you when you were two and helping me clean house. Good thing I took it!
